Public Citizen examined campaign contributions as well as information collected by the Sunlight Foundation on the hosting of political fundraisers for lobbyists and PACs associated with the 10 financial services companies that have received the most TARP money, as well as five trade associations that are spearheading a campaign against the proposed Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA). The study included the fundraisers and contributions since November for all lobbyists who have represented the financial services companies that have received the most TARP money.
